Down and Dirty; an introduction to the joy of working with clay: Dates to be determined. This 4-session series with clay artist Ginny Zipperer will introduce you to the basic concepts of working in clay. By completing a series of projects, you will learn methods of building pieces with slabs and coils, throwing on the wheel, surface decoration, and glazing. We'll discuss the different kinds of clay, the different firing methods used to finish the work and how firing process affects the outcome of the piece. Class limited to six students.
Private Lessons, Throwing Classes, & Raku Classes: All levels, currently through April and May. Students are always welcome. Please contact us to arrange private lessons or join a class.
